Innocent civilians in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, once again became victims of brutal terrorism after a devastating suicide blast struck near the Chaman Phatak railway crossing, leaving widespread destruction, civilian casualties, and deep fear among local residents.
According to initial reports, the suicide explosion targeted the railway track area in a densely populated neighborhood of Quetta. The powerful blast severely impacted nearby residential communities, causing extensive damage to homes, commercial buildings, parked vehicles, and public property. Women and children residing in surrounding houses were among those most affected by the intensity of the explosion.
The blast claimed the lives of at least 14 people and left many others injured. Security forces and rescue teams immediately reached the site, shifting the injured to nearby hospitals and providing emergency medical assistance.

The attack comes during the sacred days of Zil Hajj and close to the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, further intensifying public outrage and grief. Citizens across different segments of society condemned the bombing as an inhumane and barbaric act carried out against defenseless people.
Members of the local community expressed anger over what they described as foreign-backed terrorism aimed at sabotaging peace and stability in Balochistan. Residents emphasized that targeting innocent civilians, workers, women, and travelers represents a grave crime against humanity and reflects the desperation of terrorist elements seeking to spread fear and unrest in the province.
“The enemies of peace want to terrorize ordinary people and damage the stability of Balochistan, but such cowardly attacks cannot weaken the courage and resilience of the Baloch nation,” local residents said while speaking to media representatives.
