Four terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan were neutralized during an intelligence-based operation conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Balochistan’s Pishin district, officials said.

The operation was carried out in the Sorkhab Camp area after security agencies received intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists allegedly involved in planning and facilitating terrorist activities in the region.

According to CTD sources, the terrorists attempted to resist the operation, prompting an exchange of fire during which all four were neutralized. No casualties among security personnel were reported.

During the operation, CTD teams recovered a cache of weapons and explosives from the terrorists’ possession, including rifles, improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and a large quantity of ammunition. Officials said the recovered material was believed to have been intended for future terrorist activities targeting security forces, public infrastructure or civilians.

Preliminary investigations suggest the terrorists were using the area as a temporary hideout and logistical point for movement and coordination. Security personnel subsequently launched a search and clearance operation in surrounding locations to ensure no additional terrorist elements remained in the vicinity.

Pressure Continues to Mount on Terrorist Networks in Balochistan

The latest operation comes amid intensified counterterrorism efforts across Balochistan, where law enforcement and security agencies have increased intelligence-based actions against Fitna al-Hindustan networks and their facilitators.

Security analysts note that the recovery of IEDs and ammunition highlights the continued threat posed by terrorist groups seeking to destabilize the province through acts of violence and intimidation. However, they say persistent intelligence-led operations have significantly constrained the operational space available to such networks.

Officials maintain that disrupting terrorist hideouts, eliminating key operatives and seizing weapons before they can be used remain critical components of ongoing efforts to improve security across the province.

Authorities reiterated their commitment to continuing operations against terrorist organizations and their support structures, emphasizing that those involved in terrorism would be relentlessly pursued wherever they attempt to establish safe havens.

The CTD said investigations into the recovered material and the identities of the neutralized terrorists are continuing, while efforts remain underway to identify any additional links connected to the network operating in the area.
