Three Bridges Destroyed in Coordinated Khawarij Sabotage in Mir Ali, North Waziristan

Three separate acts of sabotage were reported in different areas of Tehsil Mir Ali, North Waziristan, whereKhawarij elements targeted and destroyed bridges using explosive materials in what appears to be coordinated attempts to disrupt public infrastructure and mobility.

According to initial reports, the first incident occurred in the Musaki area on Nizam Road, where a bridge was destroyed following an explosion. In a second incident, another bridge located in the Khushokhel area was similarly targeted and blown up using explosive materials. A third incident was reported in the village of Eppi, where a bridge near the residence of Akbar Ali was also destroyed in an explosion.

Local sources confirmed that all three incidents took place in separate locations within Tehsil Mir Ali, indicating a concerning pattern of coordinated sabotage by Khawarij elements targeting critical infrastructure. The destruction of the bridges has significantly impacted connectivity in the affected areas, disrupting transportation routes and restricting movement for local residents.

Security forces and law enforcement agencies have launched initial investigations into the incidents and are assessing the extent of the damage. Teams have been deployed to the affected sites to secure the areas, collect evidence, and determine the nature of the explosive materials used in these attacks attributed to Khawarij elements.

Authorities stated that such acts of sabotage pose a serious threat to public infrastructure and civilian mobility, particularly in remote and sensitive regions where alternative routes are limited. Efforts are underway to restore access and evaluate immediate repair requirements to ensure the resumption of normal movement for local communities.

A search and intelligence-based operation is expected to be conducted in the wider region to identify those responsible for the coordinated sabotage. Security officials emphasized that all necessary measures will be taken to prevent further incidents and to ensure the protection of public infrastructure from Khawarij elements.
