A joint search and clearance operation conducted by Kohat Police and Pakistan Army in the rugged and remote mountainous regions of Tor Chappar has entered its fifth consecutive day, as security forces continue sustained efforts to eliminate hostile and disruptive elements from the area.
According to official sources, the ongoing operation is being carried out in difficult terrain and geographically challenging locations, where search teams are conducting detailed and systematic clearance activities. The operation aims to ensure the complete removal of any anti-peace or unlawful elements and to restore long-term stability in the region.
Personnel from both Kohat Police and the Pakistan Army are actively participating in the operation, utilizing modern weaponry, advanced equipment, and professional expertise to conduct coordinated search and clearance activities across the mountainous landscape. Sensitive and suspected locations are being thoroughly examined as part of a comprehensive strategy to secure the area.
District Police Officer (DPO) Kohat, Shahbaz Elahi, is personally supervising the operation on the ground. He is overseeing deployments across multiple locations and issuing operational guidance to personnel engaged in field activities to ensure effective coordination and operational efficiency.
Speaking on the occasion, the DPO reaffirmed that all available resources are being utilized to safeguard the lives and property of citizens and to establish lasting peace in the region. He further stated that coordinated operations between Kohat Police and the Pakistan Army continue to play a key role in countering threats and maintaining security.
