The Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and Balochistan Police continue to maintain relentless pressure on terrorists under the ongoing Operation Shabaan, with coordinated aerial and ground operations forcing Khwarij, and the India-backed terrorists to abandon their hideouts and flee from their traditional strongholds.
According to security sources, the sustained intelligence-based campaign has significantly disrupted the operational capabilities of terrorist networks operating in the province. Continuous precision strikes and coordinated ground advances have compelled the terrorists to vacate their hideouts, leaving behind large quantities of weapons, ammunition, explosives, communication equipment, and other logistical supplies.
Security sources said forces are systematically clearing abandoned hideouts while expanding search operations across mountainous terrain to prevent the regrouping of fleeing terrorists and to dismantle their remaining infrastructure.
In the latest phase of the operation, three more terrorists were eliminated during coordinated engagements. With these latest successes, the total number of terrorists eliminated during Operation Shabaan has risen to 79.
Officials described the ongoing campaign as part of a comprehensive intelligence-driven strategy aimed at destroying terrorist networks, eliminating their operational bases, and denying them the ability to launch attacks against security forces or innocent civilians.
According to security sources, the recovery of substantial caches of arms, ammunition, and military equipment from abandoned hideouts further demonstrates the effectiveness of sustained aerial surveillance, intelligence coordination, and ground operations being conducted across the region.
Security forces remain engaged in follow-up clearance operations to locate fleeing terrorists, recover additional weapons and equipment, and ensure that no terrorist infrastructure remains intact.
Authorities reaffirmed that Operation Shabaan will continue with full intensity until every terrorist network operating in the province is dismantled and lasting peace and stability are restored across Balochistan. Security forces remain determined to pursue terrorists, their facilitators, and support networks wherever they attempt to operate.
