Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Rahimullah was killed when terrorists opened fire in Khas Warah area of Mamund tehsil in Bajaur district, police said.
Police said Rahimullah was targeted by the attackers in the area. He sustained fatal injuries in the firing.
Following the incident, police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace the attackers. Investigators are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the killing.
