Security forces and law enforcement agencies conducted a comprehensive search and strike operation in Lakki Marwat’s Sadar police station jurisdiction to strengthen security measures and counter terrorist activities in the area.

According to details, the operation was carried out in Wana Nizami, Wana Dolati, Wana Baro, and surrounding mountainous areas, involving police personnel, Quick Response Force teams, bomb disposal units, and armored vehicles.

During the operation, security personnel conducted extensive searches and checks at suspected hideouts linked to terrorists, their facilitators, criminals, and other hostile networks. The movement of suspicious individuals and activities was closely monitored to prevent any attempt to disrupt peace and security.

Modern drone technology was also utilized for aerial surveillance of sensitive locations and mountainous terrain, enabling timely response against any suspicious movement or emerging threat.

The ongoing search and strike operations are part of broader counterterrorism efforts aimed at dismantling terrorist support networks, restricting their mobility, and ensuring the protection of civilians. Security forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to maintaining sustained pressure on terrorist elements and preventing them from re-establishing operational space in the region.
