Operation Rad-ul-Fitna 3: Two Fitna al-Hindustan Terrorists Eliminated in Joint IBO in Jhal Magsi

Security forces, in coordination with Balochistan Police, conducted a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kotra area of Jhal Magsi, Balochistan, on the basis of credible information regarding the presence of terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH).

The operation was conducted under Operation Rad-ul-Fitna 3 as part of the ongoing efforts of Pakistan’s security forces and law-enforcement agencies to identify, pursue and eliminate terrorist elements posing a threat to peace and security in the country.

Acting upon credible intelligence, security forces and Balochistan Police launched a coordinated operation in the identified area. As the forces moved to effectively neutralise the reported terrorist presence, an intense exchange of fire ensued between the security personnel and the terrorists. During the ensuing firefight, two Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH) terrorists were eliminated.

The successful operation reflects the continued effectiveness of intelligence-based operations and close coordination between Pakistan’s security forces and provincial law-enforcement agencies in confronting terrorist threats

Following the engagement, security forces immediately commenced a comprehensive sanitisation operation in the surrounding area. The sanitisation process is aimed at ensuring that no additional terrorists or security threats remain in the vicinity. Security personnel are conducting systematic searches of the area as part of the ongoing operation.

The sanitisation operation is currently underway, and further details will be shared as and when operationally appropriate.
