During an ongoing area sanitisation operation in the Jori Cross area of Tehsil Giddar, Surab, Balochistan, security forces came under distant fire from elements of Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH).
The troops, who were conducting security and sanitisation activities in the area, responded promptly and effectively to the hostile fire. The professional and measured response by the security forces compelled the Fitna al-Hindustan elements to disengage and flee the area, thereby neutralising the immediate threat to the troops.
According to initial reports, three to four FAH elements were injured as a result of the effective response by the security forces. Following the exchange of fire, the FAH elements fled the area, taking advantage of the surrounding terrain. All personnel of the security forces remained safe, and no casualties or injuries among our troops were reported.
The successful response reflects the high state of preparedness, vigilance, and operational professionalism of Pakistan’s security forces, who remain resolute in countering hostile elements and preventing them from exploiting remote areas for subversive activities.
The sanitisation operation forms part of the continued efforts to maintain peace and security in Balochistan and to deny Fitna al-Hindustan the opportunity to establish or maintain a foothold in the area. Security forces remain fully committed to protecting the lives and property of the local population and ensuring a secure and peaceful environment throughout the province.
Area sanitisation, surveillance, and security measures are continuing to ensure that any residual threat is identified and effectively dealt with. The security forces remain vigilant and prepared to respond decisively to any attempt by hostile elements to disrupt peace and stability.
