A resident of Bazin Khel, identified as Imdadullah alias “Madelke,” a local milk seller, has publicly declared complete disassociation from his son following allegations of his involvement in anti-state activities, according to a statement made available to local authorities and community representatives.
In a detailed public declaration, Imdadullah stated that his son, Shakir, left home approximately six to seven months ago and subsequently became involved in activities contrary to the state. The father reiterated that the family has no connection whatsoever with his son’s alleged actions. He further emphasized that the family had previously issued a similar public statement inside a mosque, reaffirming their complete disassociation and lack of support for any activities attributed to him.
Imdadullah categorically stated that he does not wish to claim or receive his son’s body, funeral rites, or any form of posthumous association. He added that the family has formally renounced all ties with him and will not be responsible for any actions or consequences arising from his activities. “We have disowned him completely. Whatever he does is his own responsibility. We have no connection with him in any way,” the statement reads.
The father also expressed full willingness to cooperate with law enforcement and security agencies, stating that he would appear before authorities whenever summoned by the peace committee or police. He added that the family is ready to provide any form of clarification or oath if required by officials, reiterating their commitment to transparency and compliance with legal procedures.
Describing himself as a poor working-class individual, Imdadullah emphasized that his livelihood depends on daily labor and that the family has no capacity or intention to engage in confrontation with state institutions. He stressed that the family seeks only to live peacefully and maintain their daily survival without being drawn into any conflict-related matters.
Imdadullah also stated that he had previously been detained for 22 days, after which his Call Detail Records (CDR) were cleared by authorities, according to his account. Local sources indicate that such public declarations of disassociation are sometimes made by families in regions affected by security-related concerns, as a means of clarifying their position and avoiding association with alleged militant activity.
Authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the case at the time of publication.
