Security Forces, in coordination with Police, have eliminated 49 terrorists in a series of high-tempo intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan over the past few days, dealing significant blows to terrorist networks and disrupting attempts to undermine peace and stability.
The operations were conducted as part of the ongoing counterterrorism campaign against Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Khwarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 12 Khwarij affiliated with Fitna al-Khwarij were eliminated during multiple intelligence-based operations in Bannu, North Waziristan, Orakzai and Khyber districts.
Security Forces and Police also recovered and destroyed a substantial quantity of explosives, IED detonating remotes, weapons, ammunition and motorcycles during the operations.
In Balochistan, 37 terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan were eliminated in 10 intelligence-based operations conducted in Mastung, Mach, Khuzdar and Panjgur districts.
A significant quantity of weapons, explosive drums and remote-detonation equipment was also recovered and destroyed during these operations.
Following the operations, sanitization efforts are continuing in the affected areas to locate and eliminate any remaining terrorists and dismantle residual terrorist infrastructure.
The latest operations form part of the broader counterterrorism campaign under Azm-e-Istehkam, aimed at dismantling foreign-sponsored and supported terrorist networks operating against Pakistan.
Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies remain committed to maintaining sustained pressure on terrorist networks and preventing them from exploiting Pakistan’s territory to threaten the country’s peace, stability and security.
