Terrorists, affiliated with the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) which is declared by the state as Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH), attacked road construction machinery near the Jusak area on the outskirts of Turbat, setting a contractor’s vehicle on fire, according to local sources.
The incident occurred at a site where road construction work was underway linking the area to the M-8 highway. Initial reports indicate that while construction machinery was present at the location, the attackers specifically torched the contractor’s personal vehicle before fleeing the scene.
No casualties have been reported so far, and there has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
Officials have yet to issue a formal statement regarding the incident, while security agencies are expected to initiate an investigation into the attack and assess any potential damage to infrastructure.
The area has witnessed intermittent security concerns in recent months, particularly targeting development activity and civilian-linked economic movement.
