In a deeply distressing appeal, a resident of Turbat has publicly disowned his daughter, Nasreen, over her alleged involvement in terrorism and urged the government to take strict legal action against her if she refuses to surrender her arms.
Naseer Ahmed, in a video statement, said he had no association with his daughter Nasreen and called upon the authorities to take action against her if she continued to remain involved in terrorist activities and refused to lay down her arms.
The father made the appeal while expressing his helplessness over his daughter’s alleged involvement in terrorism. He urged her to abandon the path of violence and surrender rather than continue activities that could endanger the lives of innocent people and contribute to instability in Balochistan.
He further made it clear that he did not want to be associated with or held responsible for his daughter’s alleged actions, calling on the authorities to deal with her strictly in accordance with the law if she chose not to surrender.
The statement comes amid intensified efforts by authorities in Balochistan to identify and apprehend individuals allegedly involved in activities linked to Fitna al-Hindustan and aimed at undermining peace and security in the province.
Rewards Announced for Wanted Women
The Balochistan Government has announced financial rewards ranging from Rs. 1 million to Rs. 1.5 million for credible information leading to the identification and apprehension of nine highly wanted women allegedly associated with Fitna al-Hindustan and involved in activities described by the authorities as detrimental to peace and security.
According to the provincial government, eight of the wanted women carry a reward of Rs. 1 million each, while a Rs. 1.5 million reward has been announced for Azizan. The individuals have reportedly been linked to Gwadar, Jewani and Turbat, areas where security authorities remain vigilant against activities that could threaten public safety and regional stability.
The government has urged citizens possessing credible information about the whereabouts or activities of the wanted individuals to share it through designated official channels, assuring that the identities of informants will be kept strictly confidential.
Authorities have alleged that the wanted women are involved in activities intended to disrupt peace and create instability, and have further claimed that some seek to influence or mislead vulnerable women and involve them in activities contributing to unrest.
The reward announcement is part of broader efforts to strengthen cooperation between law-enforcement agencies and local communities in identifying and apprehending individuals allegedly involved in activities threatening peace and security.
Authorities have advised citizens not to approach or confront any wanted individual themselves, but instead provide credible information through the designated channels so that lawful action can be taken.
The provincial government has reiterated that information provided by citizens will be handled confidentially and has urged the public to remain vigilant and cooperate with law-enforcement authorities in efforts to protect communities and maintain peace across Balochistan.
