Six Federal Constabulary Personnel Martyred in Hassan Khel Clash with Terrorists

Six personnel of the Federal Constabulary were martyred in Hassan Khel area of Peshawar during an exchange of fire with terrorists, officials said.

The personnel were killed while engaging terrorists in a fierce confrontation in the Hassan Khel region, where security forces responded to an attack.

The martyred personnel were later laid to rest after their funeral prayers held at the Federal Constabulary Headquarters in Peshawar. The ceremony was attended by senior government and security officials.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State Talal Chaudhry attended the funeral prayers of the slain personnel. Both officials paid tribute to the sacrifices of Naik Ameer, Lance Naik Muhammad Yousaf, Lance Naik Muhammad Riaz, and soldiers Ajmeer, Ehsan, and Riaz.

Mohsin Naqvi expressed condolences to the families of the martyrs, offering them support and solidarity. He praised the morale and resilience of the bereaved families and said the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain.

He added that the nation would always remember the bravery and sacrifice of its security personnel and reiterated that the country stands firmly with the families of those killed.

Mohsin Naqvi further stated that the families of the martyrs would not be left alone and would be fully supported.

Minister of State Talal Chaudhry also paid tribute to the martyrs, saying that the entire nation is united in the fight against terrorism. He said operations against anti-state elements would be further strengthened and made more effective.

Senior security officials, including the Inspector General of Frontier Corps North, Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, Inspector General of Federal Constabulary, Commandant of the National Police Academy, Director General FIA, Director General NCCIA, and the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, attended the funeral prayers.

The Inspector General of Federal Constabulary briefed the Interior Minister on the details of the incident.
