Security forces have conducted a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Pishin district, Balochistan, following the receipt of actionable intelligence regarding the presence of elements affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan and the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
According to security sources, the operation resulted in the elimination of six Fitna al-Hindustan BLA operatives.
The operation was carried out on the basis of intelligence indicating the presence of the group’s elements in the area. Security forces moved swiftly to act on the information, targeting the identified threat and successfully neutralising six operatives.
Following the completion of the initial operation, security forces have launched a comprehensive search and clearance operation in the surrounding area. The follow-up action is aimed at identifying any remaining Fitna al-Hindustan elements, associates or other individuals potentially connected to the network and ensuring that no residual threat remains in the area.
Security personnel are conducting systematic searches of the operational area as part of efforts to establish complete security and prevent any surviving elements from regrouping or attempting to relocate.
The operation in Pishin highlights the importance of intelligence-based actions in countering organised threats in Balochistan.
