Security forces conducted a targeted intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kolwah area of Awaran district, resulting in the killing of three suspected operatives linked to the banned organization, Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), described by officials as elements of Fitna-al-Hindustan, according to security sources.
The operation was initiated following credible intelligence reports regarding the presence of armed Fitna-al-Hindustan elements in the area. Upon arrival at the designated location, security personnel came under fire, triggering an intense exchange. During the ensuing engagement, three operatives were neutralized at the scene.
Officials stated that the operation was executed with precision and forms part of sustained efforts to dismantle networks associated with Fitna-al-Hindustan operating in Balochistan. Initial reports indicate that no casualties were sustained by security forces during the operation.
Security authorities reaffirmed their resolve to ensure peace and stability in the province, underscoring that intelligence-led operations will continue against all elements involved in acts of violence and insurgency under the banner of Fitna-al-Hindustan.
