Security Forces Neutralize Fitna-al-Hindustan Elements in Balochistan; Major Arms Cache Recovered in IBO

Security forces conducted a swift and well-coordinated counter-terrorism operation in the area near Rodenjo Cross, approximately 12 kilometers north of Bencha Post, following the reported snatching of an LPG tanker and confirmed movement of Fitna-al-Hindustan elements in the region.

The operation was launched after two civilian drivers reported that armed Fitna-al-Hindustan elements had forcibly seized an LPG tanker. Acting on credible intelligence regarding the suspected location and movement of the group, security forces initiated a rapid pursuit involving three counter-terrorism units.

The pursuit continued for approximately 13.5 kilometers westward along the N-25 highway toward the Parod region. Contact was established at 2155 hours on April 13, 2026, leading to a sustained and intense engagement that lasted until 2255 hours.

During the exchange of fire, security forces effectively engaged the Fitna-al-Hindustan elements, resulting in the elimination of one operative on the spot. The seized vehicle used by the group was also recovered. Initial intelligence assessments, supported by intercepted communications, indicate that a total of two Fitna-al-Hindustan operatives were neutralized, while one was injured.

No casualties or equipment losses were reported among the security forces, highlighting the precision, preparedness, and operational effectiveness of the responding units.

A substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, and equipment was recovered from the site, including:

  • One red-colored double-cabin vehicle
  • 30 M4 rifle magazines
  • 2,406 rounds of M4 ammunition
  • 5,208 rounds of SMG ammunition
  • Three drum magazines for M4 rifles
  • Two mobile phones (including one smartphone)
  • Miscellaneous vehicle tools and operational equipment

Security officials described the operation as a decisive intelligence-based success that disrupted hostile movement, neutralized active threats, and prevented potential attacks on civilian transport and critical infrastructure routes.

Authorities emphasized that such elements have repeatedly attempted to target commercial transport and destabilize key logistical corridors. The latest operation reflects ongoing efforts to ensure secure mobility, safeguard civilian life, and maintain uninterrupted national highway operations in the region.
