Security forces are continuing ongoing counterterrorism operations in the Wana region of South Waziristan, intensifying efforts to dismantle the operational infrastructure of Fitna al-Khawarij and strengthen security across the area.
According to security sources, operations are currently underway in Dargai Kot, Laman, and adjoining localities, where security forces are conducting targeted actions against suspected Fitna al-Khawarij hideouts and locations believed to be used as operational bases.
The ongoing operations are focused on restricting the movement of Fitna al-Khawarij elements, dismantling suspected safe havens, and denying them the ability to operate within the rugged terrain of South Waziristan. Security personnel are carrying out carefully coordinated, intelligence-driven actions to identify and neutralize potential threats.
Officials stated that the objective of the operation is to eliminate the operational infrastructure of Fitna al-Khawarij, disrupt their networks, and reinforce security throughout the region.
