Security forces successfully foiled an attempt by terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH) to establish an illegal checkpoint in the Domera Cross area of Shahrag, Harnai District, following a swift and decisive response that resulted in the elimination of three terrorists.
According to initial reports, the terrorists attempted to set up a checkpoint at Domera Cross with the apparent objective of disrupting public movement, intimidating local residents, and challenging the writ of the state. Upon receiving credible intelligence regarding the terrorist activity, security forces immediately mobilized and deployed combat teams to the area to intercept the militants.
As the security forces closed in on the location, the terrorists opened fire, prompting a fierce exchange of gunfire. Displaying exceptional professionalism, courage, and tactical precision, the security forces effectively engaged the terrorists, killing three FAH militants on the spot. During the operation, an additional three to four terrorists sustained injuries and fled the area under the cover of darkness and the difficult terrain.
A comprehensive clearance and search operation has since been launched to track down the remaining terrorists and eliminate any residual threat. Security forces continue to maintain a strong presence in the area, employing all available resources to ensure that the fleeing militants are apprehended or neutralized.
