Tank Quadcopter Attack Exposes Civilian Homes to Growing Terrorist Threat

Tank, Quadcopter Attack, Terrorist Threat

A terrorist quadcopter attack damaged a house in Kari Ishqi area of Tank district after an explosive projectile dropped from the drone struck the residential property, according to local reports.

The house belonging to a local resident, identified as Kamran, sustained extensive damage, with several rooms affected by the explosion.

No human casualties were reported in the incident. However, two goats were killed as a result of the blast.

The attack once again highlights the threat posed by terrorist groups’ increasing use of weaponized quadcopters and drones in residential areas, where explosive payloads put civilian lives, homes and livestock at risk.

Similar incidents have been reported in several terrorism-affected districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where drone-dropped explosives have damaged civilian properties and endangered local residents.
