Mastung Operation Eliminates 15 Terrorists as Multiple Hideouts Are Destroyed

Terrorists

Pakistan’s Security Forces have eliminated 15 terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khwarij in an intelligence-based operation in Khurram Valley of Balochistan’s Mastung district, destroying multiple hideouts and recovering a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition and equipment used in preparing improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

The operation marks another significant blow to terrorist networks operating in Balochistan, following a series of intelligence-led actions in different parts of the province. These include operations in Tump on November 3, Kachhi and Kharan on November 1, in which security forces disrupted terrorist logistical infrastructure and eliminated a combined 17 terrorists.

During the latest operation in Mastung, security personnel targeted identified terrorist positions, resulting in the elimination of 15 terrorists linked to Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khwarij. Multiple hideouts were destroyed, while a significant quantity of weapons, ammunition and materials used in IED preparation was recovered.

The recovery of explosive-making equipment points to the terrorist infrastructure being maintained in the area for potential attacks. A clearance operation is continuing to eliminate any remaining threats and ensure that terrorist networks cannot re-establish their presence.
Earlier Operations Disrupt Terrorist Infrastructure
In a separate operation on November 3, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Banpir area of Tump under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna III, targeting suspected terrorist hideouts and their logistical infrastructure.

Using advanced technological capabilities, security forces successfully targeted the identified locations and recovered a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, communication equipment and materials allegedly intended for terrorist activities.

The recovered items included two locally manufactured IEDs weighing approximately 20kg and 3kg, three motorcycle batteries, six detonators, a Motorola communication set, four bundles of CAT-6 communication cable and approximately 30 metres of detonator wire. Security forces also recovered a flag bearing the insignia of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and a vehicle allegedly used in terrorist activities.

The recovery dealt a significant blow to the suspected terrorist network’s logistical capabilities, disrupting its ability to prepare and potentially deploy explosive devices. The operation also highlighted the importance of intelligence and technology in identifying and dismantling terrorist support infrastructure.

Earlier, on November 1, security forces eliminated 17 Indian-sponsored terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khwarij in two separate intelligence-based operations in Balochistan’s Kachhi and Kharan districts.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation was conducted in the Sanni area of Kachhi, where terrorists attempted to block a road. Security forces swiftly foiled the attempt, eliminating 10 terrorists and recovering weapons and ammunition.

In the second operation in Kharan, security forces traced and neutralized a suspected terrorist hideout following credible intelligence. An intense exchange of fire resulted in the elimination of seven Khwarij, with weapons and ammunition also recovered from the site.

However, Sepoy Hikmatullah, 25, a resident of Karak district, embraced martyrdom while fighting the terrorists during the Kharan engagement.

Clearance operations were subsequently launched in both areas to eliminate any remaining terrorists and prevent hostile networks from re-establishing their presence.

The successive operations reflect the sustained counterterrorism campaign being conducted across Balochistan under the national vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.

Through intelligence-based operations, security forces and law enforcement agencies are targeting not only terrorist operatives but also their hideouts, weapons caches, communication networks and logistical support systems.

The latest Mastung operation, alongside the actions in Tump, Kachhi and Kharan, underscores Pakistan’s determination to dismantle Indian-sponsored terrorist networks and prevent them from using Balochistan as a base for hostile activities.
