Security forces successfully foiled a terrorist attack targeting a security checkpoint at Kuchlak Bypass in Balochistan, preventing a potentially serious security incident through immediate and effective action.
According to security sources, armed elements belonging to Fitna-al-Hindustan attempted to assault a security forces’ post in the area. The attempt was swiftly detected and effectively countered by alert personnel stationed at the checkpoint.
A brief but intense exchange of fire ensued, during which security forces responded with precision, professionalism, and coordinated firepower. As a result of the timely and decisive retaliation, two terrorists belonging to Fitna-al-Hindustan were neutralized on the spot.
Officials confirmed that the prompt response not only repelled the attack but also ensured the security of the installation and prevented any escalation in the surrounding area.
Following the incident, security forces secured the location and launched a comprehensive clearance operation to rule out any remaining threats and ensure the area is fully safe. A search operation is also underway to determine whether any accomplices managed to escape.
