Fitna al-Hindustan has once again exposed its violent agenda by targeting innocent civilians in a cowardly attack near Mastung, where a passenger bus travelling from Quetta to Kalat came under indiscriminate firing.
According to security officials, the attack took place as security forces were conducting a successful operation against elements of Fitna al-Hindustan in the area and had intensified efforts to contain their activities.
Officials stated that as operational pressure increased and the security forces tightened their response against Fitna al-Hindustan, the group resorted to attacking soft civilian targets rather than confronting security personnel.
The attack on a passenger bus carrying ordinary citizens demonstrates, according to officials, the desperation of Fitna al-Hindustan and its continued attempts to spread fear, create instability, and disrupt peace in Balochistan.
Security officials stated that Fitna al-Hindustan, unable to challenge security forces directly, has repeatedly attempted to create an atmosphere of fear by targeting innocent people. They added that such actions reveal the group’s disregard for human life and its efforts to undermine public confidence and regional stability.
Officials further stated that the attack was aimed at creating panic among civilians and serving the interests of those supporting and facilitating Fitna al-Hindustan’s violent activities.
The security forces reaffirmed that such cowardly acts will not weaken their resolve or affect ongoing operations against Fitna al-Hindustan. They emphasized that efforts to eliminate threats to public safety and restore lasting peace in the region will continue with full determination.
Authorities reiterated that the protection of innocent citizens remains the highest priority and that those responsible for attacks against civilians will be pursued and brought to justice.
