Security forces conducted a series of coordinated intelligence-based operations (IBOs) across multiple districts of Balochistan over the past 24 hours, targeting terrorist elements involved in violence, extortion, and attacks on civilians and security personnel.
The operations were carried out in Quetta, Mastung (Lakpass), Kech (Buleda and Turbat/Tump areas), Khuzdar, Washuk, Kharan, and Panjgur, among other locations. Acting on actionable intelligence, security forces and law enforcement agencies engaged terrorist hideouts in a sustained campaign aimed at dismantling operational infrastructure of outlawed groups.
According to initial reports, more than 20 terrorists were neutralized during these coordinated operations. In addition, multiple terrorist hideouts were destroyed, and clearance operations continue in several affected areas to ensure complete elimination of remaining threats.
In the Lakpass area of Mastung, security forces engaged a local commander identified as Safar Khan, a resident of Kanger, Mastung, affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan/BLA networks. He was neutralized during a fire exchange with security forces. He was reportedly involved in extortion activities, highway ambushes, looting, and terrorist planning targeting security personnel and civilians.
In the Buleda area of Kech district, FC Balochistan South conducted a precise intelligence-based operation targeting terrorist elements operating in concealed hideouts. During the operation, two high-value targets identified as Salman alias Chirag and Ikram alias Pakho were neutralized. Both individuals were reportedly involved in targeted killings of civilians, extortion networks, and acts of arson including the burning of vehicles. Terrorist hideouts in the area were subsequently dismantled, and follow-up clearance operations remain underway.
In Kharan, another major intelligence-based operation resulted in the neutralization of seven terrorists associated with Fitna al-Hindustan. Their safe havens were destroyed, while three additional suspects were apprehended during the operation. Security forces continue search and clearance efforts in surrounding areas to eliminate any remaining threat elements.
Security officials confirmed that operations across affected districts remain ongoing, with continued efforts to clear remaining terrorist presence and secure sensitive routes and population centers. Intelligence-based follow-up actions are being conducted to prevent regrouping or re-establishment of terrorist networks.
Authorities emphasized that the individuals targeted in these operations were involved in serious criminal and terrorist activities, including extortion, targeted killings, attacks on civilians, and disruption of peace and stability in the region.
Security forces reiterated their unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism from Balochistan and restore lasting peace and stability. The successful execution of these coordinated operations reflects improved intelligence coordination, rapid response capabilities, and sustained efforts to dismantle militant infrastructure across the province.
Officials further stated that no organization involved in terrorism or violence against civilians and state institutions will be allowed to operate freely, and operations will continue until complete restoration of peace in all affected areas.
The local population has been urged to cooperate with security agencies and report any suspicious activity to help maintain law and order.
