In a reported incident of abduction, terrorists affiliated with the banned militant organization Fitna al-Hindustan have kidnapped two individuals associated with a logistics company from the Khad Kacha area of Balochistan and demanded a ransom of Rs. 25 million for their release.
According to available information, the incident occurred when the two employees of a supply and logistics company were intercepted and abducted by armed militants. Following the abduction, the victims were reportedly taken towards the Kali Injiri area.
The abducted individuals have been identified as Jan Muhammad, a resident of Hazara Town, Quetta, and Sajid Ali, a resident of Mominabad, Quetta. Their permanent address has been reported as Bhara Kahu, Islamabad.
Sources indicate that at the time of the incident, the two individuals were traveling in a company-owned Shehzore vehicle, which was also taken away by the alleged perpetrators.
Reports further state that on 26 July, the owner of the courier company, Muhammad Imran, received a telephone call from the kidnappers demanding Rs. 25 million in exchange for the safe release of the two abducted individuals.
The alleged abductors reportedly issued threats that failure to meet their demands would result in harm to the hostages.
The incident has raised renewed concerns over the activities of militant groups targeting civilians, businesses, and individuals involved in commercial operations in the region. Security authorities are expected to investigate the matter and take necessary measures to ensure the safe recovery of the abducted persons and bring those responsible to justice.
Authorities continue efforts to counter militant activities and protect citizens from acts of violence, intimidation, and extortion.
