The mother of Osman, member of the banned militant group Fitna al-Hindustan, has publicly announced her family’s complete disassociation from him and stated that neither she nor any member of her family has any connection with his activities, decisions, or actions.
Addressing a press conference at the Turbat Press Club, Osman’s mother made it clear that her family does not endorse or accept responsibility for any activities allegedly associated with him. She stated that Osman had separated himself from the family by his own choice some time ago and had independently pursued his personal decisions.
She further explained that Osman later attempted to establish contact with the family; however, they chose not to engage with him. She reiterated that neither she, her husband, nor other family members maintain any relationship with him or have any involvement in his affairs.
During the press conference, Osman’s mother emphasized that he is solely responsible for his own choices, actions, and decisions. She stated that the family considers it necessary to publicly clarify its position and formally distance itself from any alleged activities linked to him.
She added that the family has no association with Osman’s reported involvement in militant activities and does not accept any responsibility for actions carried out independently by him.
Observers noted that public statements of disassociation by families of individuals associated with militant organizations reflect growing societal rejection of violent extremism and demonstrate the desire of communities to distance themselves from activities that threaten peace, stability, and security.
The development comes amid continued efforts by security institutions and society at large to counter militant networks and prevent the exploitation of individuals for violent agendas.
