Crackdown on Afghan Nationals Commences in Effort to Address Illegal Residency

In a decisive move to address the issue of illegal Afghan nationals residing in the country, a large-scale crackdown has been initiated across several regions, beginning today at 8:00 AM. The operation aims to target both Afghan nationals with ACC cards and those living unlawfully within Pakistan’s borders.

The directive, issued to all SDPOs (Senior Deputy Police Officers) and SHOs (Station House Officers), mandates strict implementation of the operation with a focus on maximizing arrests. All arrested individuals will be transferred to the holding center in Attock on a daily basis for further processing.

To ensure the operation’s success, SDPOs and SHOs are tasked with submitting daily progress reports on the arrests and actions taken. These reports must be sent to Mr. Jahangir through the Security Branch for continuous monitoring and evaluation of the operation’s progress.

In addition, the SDPO of the President Circle and the SHO of the City Police Station in Attock have been assigned responsibility for overseeing duty shifts at the holding center, which will commence at 8:00 AM tomorrow. The officers are expected to maintain full accountability for staff performance, ensuring that all personnel remain alert and present at all times.

These orders are to be enforced immediately. All SDPOs, SHOs, and clerical staff, alongside field security personnel, are instructed to strictly adhere to the directives and report their progress daily to the Security Branch. Any negligence or failure to comply with the orders will not be tolerated.

The crackdown is part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order and ensure the safety and security of the nation.
