Lakki Police conducted a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Saggai area, within the jurisdiction of Bragi Police Station, resulting in the reported elimination of four terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP), according to the Lakki Police Aman Committee.
Acting on credible intelligence regarding the presence of Fitna al-Khawarij elements in the area, Lakki Police launched a targeted operation in Saggai. The operation was carried out as part of ongoing efforts to disrupt terrorist activity and strengthen the security of local communities across Lakki Marwat.
During the operation, an exchange of fire reportedly took place between police personnel and the armed elements. In the ensuing engagement, four terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP) were reportedly eliminated.
The operation highlights the continued reliance on intelligence-based policing to identify and disrupt terrorist networks before they can carry out attacks or establish operational footholds.
