The joint operation Operation Shabaan, being conducted by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and police against Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists, continues with full intensity across various areas of Balochistan. During the latest intelligence-based operations, nine more Khawarij terrorists were eliminated, further weakening terrorist networks operating in the province.
According to security sources, the latest actions were carried out in difficult and remote areas of Balochistan, including mountainous regions and suspected hideouts used by Khawarij elements. The operations were conducted as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and prevent hostile elements from carrying out attacks against innocent civilians and security personnel.
Security sources stated that the terrorists were successfully targeted through coordinated ground and aerial operations. During the operation, security forces also continued search and clearance activities in multiple areas to locate remaining elements, disrupt their movement, and secure the surrounding regions.
With the latest successful operations, the total number of Khawarij terrorists eliminated since the launch of Operation Shabaan has reached 52, according to security sources.
