Lakki Marwat: Joint Operation Targets Khawarij Hideouts Across Multiple Areas

In a coordinated effort to strengthen security and ensure lasting peace, Lakki Marwat Police, in collaboration with local Police Peace Committees, conducted a large-scale joint search operation across several sensitive areas of the district against Khawarij elements.

The operation was carried out on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Lakki Marwat, Nazir Khan, and President of the Lakki Marwat Police Peace Committee, Ghazi Khalid Khan, reaffirming the district administration’s resolve to eliminate threats posed by Khawarij and safeguard public peace and security.

The joint operation covered Atashi Machan Khel, Ghati Machan Khel, Painda Machan Khel, and surrounding areas, where law enforcement personnel conducted extensive search and clearance activities while assessing the overall law and order situation.

During the operation, suspected Khawarij hideouts were identified and demolished, while several shelters believed to have been used by miscreants were set ablaze to prevent their reuse. Security forces thoroughly searched the area to eliminate any potential threats and ensure complete clearance of the region.

The operation involved a strong contingent of law enforcement units, including the Police Lines Force, Quick Response Force (QRF), Rapid Response Force (RRF), Bomb Disposal Squad, Drone Surveillance Unit, and Lakki City Police.

Community-based Police Peace Committees also actively participated in the operation, including the Gundi Khan Khel Committee, Jalal Khan Shaheed Police Peace Committee, Sarai Naurang Police Peace Committee, Mamma Khel Police Peace Committee, Nasar Khel Police Peace Committee, Manjiwala Police Peace Committee, and Landiwah Pasban Police Peace Committee. Their involvement highlights strong coordination between law enforcement agencies and local communities in countering Khawarij elements and promoting peace.

Officials stated that the operation aimed to deny Khawarij any space to regroup or establish safe havens within the district. The use of specialized units, including the Bomb Disposal Squad and drone surveillance teams, ensured a comprehensive and effective security sweep.

Lakki Marwat Police and the Police Peace Committees reiterated their firm commitment to maintaining law and order, protecting the lives and property of citizens, and taking decisive action against Khawarij elements threatening regional stability.

Authorities further emphasized that similar intelligence-based joint operations will continue in the future as part of a sustained strategy to strengthen security, reinforce public confidence, and ensure the complete elimination of Khawarij networks from the area.
