Pakistan’s security forces have eliminated 26 members of Fitna-al-Hindustan during a series of synchronized security operations conducted across multiple districts of Balochistan, according to security sources.
The operations, carried out in Kalat, Kharan, Tump, Quetta, and Khuzdar, were described as intelligence-based actions aimed at dismantling hostile networks, disrupting operational capabilities, and preventing future attacks against civilians, public infrastructure, and state institutions.
Security officials stated that elite Special Services Group (SSG) commandos, supported by Cobra attack helicopters and other specialized assets, participated in the coordinated offensive. According to the sources, the operations targeted key hideouts, command-and-control nodes, and logistical support structures allegedly linked to recent acts of violence in the province.
Officials further claimed that several high-value targets were among those killed, including individuals allegedly involved in the planning and execution of the recent Quetta bombing. Security sources described the operation as a major blow to the group’s operational network and its ability to conduct coordinated activities across Balochistan.
According to preliminary assessments, the offensive has significantly degraded the command structure, mobility, and operational reach of Fitna-al-Hindustan elements across several strategically important areas. Security agencies are continuing follow-up actions to identify and apprehend any remaining facilitators, financiers, and support operatives associated with the network.
Authorities indicated that a comprehensive tactical lockdown remains in effect in designated operational zones to facilitate area sanitization, maintain public safety, and support ongoing intelligence-led activities. Search-and-clearance operations continue in sensitive and remote locations to ensure that no hostile elements are able to re-establish a presence.
Security officials emphasized that the latest operations form part of Pakistan’s broader national security strategy aimed at ensuring lasting peace, stability, and development throughout Balochistan. They reaffirmed that all efforts will continue to deny anti-state elements any space to operate and to preserve the security of the province’s residents.
The successful neutralization of those allegedly responsible for the Quetta bombing marks a significant development in ongoing efforts to bring the perpetrators of violence to justice and strengthen the overall security environment in the region.
