Security forces from the Al-Barq Division conducted a successful counterterrorism operation in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district, resulting in the elimination of a key Khawarij commander. The operation was launched following actionable intelligence regarding the presence and activities of armed Khawarij elements operating in the area. During the targeted action, forces engaged hostile elements in a coordinated assault, killing a high-value commander identified by the alias “Parakay.”
Security officials described the slain commander as an important operational figure allegedly involved in facilitating extremist activities and coordinating attacks in the region. Preliminary intelligence assessments suggest that the individual had been on the radar of law enforcement and security agencies due to his suspected links to violent Khawarij networks operating in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
