DG ISPR Challenges India: “Where Is the Proof of Pahalgam?” False Flags Alleged, Kashmir Status Reasserted

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has stated that India has repeatedly relied on false flag operations to construct political narratives, while stressing that Pakistan remains fully prepared across all domains of modern warfare.

Addressing a media briefing, the DG ISPR said that Indian political leadership increasingly reflects a militarized mindset, adding that India’s leadership appears to exhibit traits more aligned with aggression than diplomacy. He stated that Pakistan, in contrast, continues to make the most consistent and sincere efforts for peace and stability in the region.

He further remarked that instead of addressing its internal challenges, India appears to be exacerbating regional tensions through external blame-shifting and narrative construction.

Reiterating Pakistan’s longstanding position, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that Kashmir is not an internal matter of India but an internationally recognized disputed territory. He emphasized that multiple United Nations resolutions exist on the Kashmir issue, underscoring its unresolved and internationally acknowledged status.

He urged India to move away from what he described as false narratives and to present facts rather than propaganda, stating that sustainable regional peace requires honesty and adherence to international realities.

Referring to the Pahalgam incident, the DG ISPR said that one year has passed since the event, yet India has failed to present any credible evidence or factual substantiation regarding its claims. He questioned the absence of proof despite repeated allegations, stating that such gaps raise serious concerns over narrative credibility.

He reiterated that Pakistan remains fully prepared at all times, adding that the country’s readiness existed a year ago and remains unchanged today. “We were ready then, and we are ready now,” he stated.

Highlighting the evolving nature of modern conflict, he said that contemporary warfare extends beyond traditional battlefields and includes air, land, sea, cyber, and cognitive domains. He emphasized that Pakistan’s Armed Forces have demonstrated effectiveness across all these spheres.

According to the DG ISPR, Pakistan successfully confronted challenges across multiple domains and maintained operational superiority during recent confrontations, reflecting strong preparedness and coordinated defense capability.

He concluded by reaffirming that Pakistan remains committed to regional peace but will respond decisively to any form of aggression across all dimensions of warfare.
