ISPR has announced that security forces killed five Indian-sponsored terrorists during a successful intelligence-based operation in Dera Bugti on December 5, following confirmed reports about militants belonging to the Indian proxy network Fitna al Hindustan. The operation, executed with precision, also led to the recovery of weapons, ammunition and explosives from the slain terrorists, who had been involved in numerous attacks in the region.
According to ISPR, the operation commenced after actionable intelligence identified the terrorists’ hideout. Security forces immediately engaged the location, and after an intense exchange of fire, all five militants were eliminated. The recovered cache of arms and explosives indicates the group’s continued involvement in foreign-backed terrorism targeting local stability.
ISPR further stated that sanitisation operations are in progress to ensure that no remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists evade the security sweep. The statement reaffirmed that the nationwide counterterrorism campaign under the vision Azm-e-Istehkam—as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan—will continue at full pace. The Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies remain fully committed to eliminating every trace of foreign-supported terrorism and restoring lasting peace across the country.
