Pakistan has conducted 67,023 intelligence-based operations nationwide in 2025 to dismantle militant networks, with 12,857 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 53,309 in Balochistan, reflecting a high-intensity, coordinated counterterrorism campaign. Since November 4 alone, 4,910 operations have been carried out.
Security sources highlighted that these operations combine human intelligence, drone surveillance, and rapid-response teams, allowing forces to track and neutralise militants even in remote, divided border villages. The DG ISPR emphasised that such operations require careful coordination between district, divisional, and provincial committees, ensuring monitoring and implementation at multiple administrative levels.
The focus on intelligence-led actions has allowed authorities to interdict militant movements and disrupt illegal networks, minimising risks to civilians and enhancing operational effectiveness. Officials noted that continuous evaluation and technology integration remain central to Pakistan’s counterterrorism strategy.
