After the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and especially the tribal belt, voiced their outrage, residents of Dera Bugti, Balochistan have followed suit, taking to the streets in large numbers. They are demanding swift and decisive action against the militants and terrorist groups that have plagued their region for far too long.
The recent incident in Dera Bugti, where a bomb planted by the banned Baloch Republican Army (BRA) killed four innocent civilians, has further fueled public anger. Among the victims were women and two young children, whose deaths serve as a grim reminder of the brutality and cowardice of these terrorists. The attack, which targeted ordinary citizens, represents the worst form of violence and is an example of the merciless tactics employed by militants in the region.
Locals are now speaking out against the so-called “freedom fighters,” who in reality use innocent civilians as human shields. These self-styled “fighters” have been exploiting the younger generation, brainwashing them into becoming suicide bombers to further their nefarious objectives. Their actions, which include the manipulation and destruction of innocent lives, have no true connection to the rights or aspirations of the Baloch people.
The people of Balochistan, in contrast, have grown increasingly disillusioned with these bloodthirsty groups. Their voices now echo a collective desire for peace, development, and prosperity. The youth, once misled by extremist ideologies, are now awakening to the truth—that their future lies not in violence, but in peace and progress.
The call for an immediate and robust military response against these terrorist groups is growing louder. Residents of Dera Bugti, alongside many others in Balochistan, have united in their demand for an end to the reign of terror that has held their lives hostage for years. The Baloch people, who long for a better future, are now standing together to reclaim their peace and security from the clutches of extremism and militancy.
