The United Front for the Liberation of Afghanistan has claimed two separate operations against Taliban fighters in Helmand province, reportedly killing one Taliban member in each incident.
In the first operation, the group said its forces targeted a Taliban fighter last night in Dehmarang village of Greshk district. The target was reportedly killed, although the group did not disclose the individual’s identity or position within the Taliban.
In the second operation, the United Front for the Unity of Afghanistan said its forces carried out an operation yesterday in the Kariz area between Greshk and Nozad districts of Helmand province, reportedly killing another Taliban member.
Both claims concern separate incidents in Helmand, with one reported in Dehmarang village and the other in the Kariz area. The group did not provide further details about the tactics used or whether there were additional casualties.
The claims could not be independently verified, and no immediate response from Taliban authorities was available.
