Law enforcement authorities have released a list of 59 wanted individuals allegedly associated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) operating in the Swat region and announced financial rewards for information that assists security agencies in identifying and locating these individuals.
According to the police release, the listed individuals include alleged commanders and operatives involved in activities against the peace, security, and stability of the region. The announcement is part of ongoing efforts by security forces and law enforcement agencies to strengthen public safety, disrupt terrorist networks, and bring wanted individuals before the law.
Authorities have appealed to citizens to extend cooperation by providing credible information regarding the whereabouts, movement, or activities of the listed individuals. Security officials emphasized that public support remains a vital component in countering terrorism and preventing threats to civilian lives and national security.
The police stated that the reward and head-money announcements are intended to encourage responsible citizen participation and enable security institutions to take timely action against those allegedly involved in violent activities.
Security agencies have reiterated that the identity of informants will be kept confidential and that information can be shared through designated channels established by law enforcement authorities.
The release of the wanted list reflects the continued commitment of Pakistan’s security institutions to dismantling terrorist networks, eliminating threats to public safety, and ensuring lasting peace and stability in Swat and surrounding areas.
