Security forces eliminated six Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists during intelligence-based operations in Gorander and Mashkel areas of Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, security sources said.

The operations came as security forces intensified action against terrorist networks across the country, following precision strikes against terrorist hideouts in Afghanistan and operations against Fitna al-Khwarij in Bajaur, and in North and South Waziristan.

According to security sources, terrorists opened fire on a security checkpoint in Mashkel and attempted to flee after the attack. Security forces responded swiftly and eliminated the fleeing terrorists.

The sources said the operations in Gorander and Mashkel dealt a significant blow to Fitna al-Hindustan’s activities in the area, disrupting its ability to use the region for terrorist attacks and movement.

The latest action is part of continuing intelligence-based operations under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 against terrorist networks operating across Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to security forces for the successful intelligence-based operations against Fitna al-Khwarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, saying the nation was proud of its brave security personnel.

Naqvi said the entire nation stood alongside the security forces in the fight against terrorism and expressed confidence that continued national support would help eliminate the threat and establish lasting peace.

Security forces have reaffirmed their resolve to continue operations against terrorist networks until the threat is eliminated and lasting peace is secured.
