Security forces conducted a sanitization operation in the Sarawan Valley of Kharan in Balochistan after receiving credible intelligence regarding the presence of FAH terrorist safe havens.
During the operation, intense action led to the elimination of 4-5 terrorists. Two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were defused on site, while a house being used by terrorists was cleared during the sweep.
In addition, security forces recovered three quadcopters being used by terrorists for operational activity, and also confiscated three motorcycles linked to terrorist movement in the area.
Search and sanitization efforts in the wider area are continuing as forces maintain pressure to eliminate remaining terrorist presence.
