Security Forces, in a successful intelligence-based operation in the Saranan area of Pishin, Balochistan, have eliminated six terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan, who were involved in the killing of non-local labourers and remained actively engaged in terrorist activities aimed at disrupting peace and stability in the province.
The operation was conducted on the basis of credible intelligence regarding the presence and movement of terrorists involved in attacks against innocent civilians and other acts of violence in the area. Security Forces effectively engaged the terrorists, resulting in the elimination of six members of the terrorist network.
The successful operation demonstrates the unwavering resolve and operational preparedness of the Security Forces to protect the lives of innocent citizens and deny terrorists the space to operate against the peace and security of Balochistan.
The terrorists eliminated during the operation were involved in the targeted killing of non-local labourers, an act intended to spread fear, undermine social harmony and create an environment of insecurity among law-abiding citizens. Such attacks against innocent and unarmed civilians are a direct assault on the peace and prosperity of the province and will not be tolerated.
Security Forces remain fully alert and continue to maintain a high state of operational readiness across Balochistan. Intelligence-based operations are being intensified to identify, track and neutralize terrorist elements, their facilitators and support networks.
The Security Forces reaffirm that there will be zero tolerance for terrorism and violence against innocent citizens. Those who seek to challenge the writ of the state, target civilians or disrupt peace and stability will be dealt with decisively in accordance with the law.
