Security forces have conducted an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) against Khawarij in various areas of Bannu, with reports of explosions occurring during the operation, according to sources.
The operation was carriSecurity Forces ed out in the areas of Narmi Khel, Baka Khel, and Takhti Khel, where security forces targeted suspected positions and hideouts of the Khawarij based on intelligence information. According to initial reports, multiple explosions were heard during the operation. Sources indicated that the blasts were likely caused by the detonation of stored explosives and ammunition belonging to the Khawarij.
The operation was part of ongoing efforts by security forces to identify and neutralize hostile infrastructure, disrupt the activities of Khawarij elements, and prevent the use of local areas for carrying out attacks.
