In continuation of Operation Ghazb Lil Haq, security forces conducted precise and intelligence-driven strikes against identified camps and safe havens of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and Fitna al-Khawarij located in the border regions of Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar.
Based on credible and actionable intelligence regarding the presence of Khawarij elements involved in planning and facilitating hostile activities against Pakistan, security forces carried out carefully coordinated precision strikes during the night of 28/29 June 2026.
The targeted operations successfully neutralized Khawarij positions and destroyed key infrastructure being used for terrorist activities. The strikes resulted in the elimination of Khawarij elements, while significant quantities of weapons, ammunition, and other war-like material stored at these camps and hideouts were also destroyed.
The operation was executed with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism, ensuring that identified hostile facilities were effectively dismantled and the operational capabilities of the targeted groups were significantly degraded.
The destruction of these camps and safe havens represents a major setback to the networks involved in orchestrating violence and destabilizing activities. The successful action demonstrates the readiness, precision, and operational effectiveness of Pakistan’s security forces in countering threats posed by Fitna al-Khawarij and its affiliated elements.
Pakistan remains committed to safeguarding the lives and security of its citizens and will continue taking all necessary measures against threats emanating from terrorist infrastructure and hostile networks.
The security forces, in coordination with intelligence and law enforcement agencies, remain fully determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and ensure peace and stability in the region.
Pakistan’s resolve to combat terrorism remains unwavering, and every attempt to undermine national security will be met with a decisive and effective response.
