In continuation of Operation Ghazb Lil Haq, Pakistan’s security forces carried out a series of precise and intelligence-driven operations against the hideouts and Marakiz of Fitna al Khawarij and the Indian proxy Jamaat-ul-Ahrar operating in the border region along the Pakistan-Afghanistan frontier.
Acting on credible and actionable intelligence regarding the presence of Khawarij infrastructure being used for planning, coordinating, and facilitating acts of terrorism against Pakistan, calibrated precision strikes were conducted during the night of 28/29 June 2026. The operations targeted identified Khawarij camps and hideouts located in the border regions of Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar.
The strikes achieved their intended objectives with exceptional precision, resulting in the complete destruction of three major Khawarij targets. Twenty-five (25) Khawarij were neutralized during the operation, while large quantities of weapons, ammunition, explosives, and other war-like stores concealed within these Marakiz and hideouts were destroyed, significantly degrading the operational capability of the hostile network.
The successful execution of these intelligence-led strikes reflects the high degree of operational preparedness, professionalism, and precision of Pakistan’s security forces. By dismantling these terrorist sanctuaries and disrupting their logistical infrastructure, the operation has dealt a significant blow to the capability of Fitna al Khawarij and its affiliated elements to orchestrate and sustain acts of violence against Pakistan.
Pakistan has consistently pursued the objective of promoting peace, stability, and constructive engagement in the region. However, the safety, security, and well-being of its citizens remain paramount. Any threat emanating from across the border or from foreign-sponsored proxies against the people of Pakistan will be responded to with resolve, precision, and determination.
The operation underscores Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that its territory and its people remain protected from the menace of terrorism. Security forces will continue to take all necessary measures, in accordance with national security imperatives, to neutralize threats wherever they emerge.
Pakistan’s relentless counterterrorism campaign under the national vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” as approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, will continue with full resolve. The security forces, in close coordination with law enforcement and intelligence agencies, remain committed to dismantling the infrastructure of foreign-sponsored and supported Fitna al Khawarij and ensuring lasting peace, stability, and security throughout the country.
