Security forces, including the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), police, and other law enforcement units, carried out an operation in Halimzai Nasaafi village in Mohmand district based on credible intelligence about individuals allegedly involved in facilitating terrorists.

During the raid, a suspect identified as Ahmad Sher, son of Noor Sher, was taken into custody for his alleged role as a facilitator. According to official accounts, the arrest was met with resistance when associates of the suspect, along with some individuals described as PTM activists, attempted to obstruct the operation by resorting to stone pelting and creating disorder at the scene.

Police reinforcement units were promptly deployed, dispersing the crowd and restoring order in the area.

Authorities stated that such attempts to interfere with law enforcement operations will not deter ongoing counterterrorism efforts, adding that facilitators of terrorists will be systematically pursued and apprehended.

They further reiterated that under the National Action Plan and Operation Azm-e-Istehkam, pressure on terrorist networks and their support structures is being steadily intensified, and that no space will be left for facilitators of terrorists to operate.
