According to initial information, a group of approximately 45–50 terrorists, described as “Khawarij,” launched a coordinated assault on the security installation with the apparent objective of forcibly entering and overrunning the post. The attackers reportedly approached the position in two vehicles and attempted to breach the security perimeter.
The attack was promptly detected by the alert and vigilant security personnel, who immediately responded with an effective and determined defensive action. The attackers’ attempt to penetrate the post was decisively repulsed, preventing them from achieving their intended objective.
During the ensuing operation, multiple terrorists were killed, while a substantial quantity of terrorist equipment and material was recovered from the area. The recovered items reportedly included grenades, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), material attributed to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and wire cutters, indicating the attackers’ preparations for a coordinated assault and possible breach of the security installation.
