In yet another display of violence and disregard for human life, Khawarij carried out a cowardly attack last night in the Zagi Sar area of Hassan Khel, Frontier Region (FR) Peshawar, targeting a police checkpoint and a civilian residence through the use of explosives.
The attack caused damage to public and private property, including a villager’s home, once again exposing the destructive mindset of Khawarij elements who continue to rely on fear, violence, and intimidation.
The incident reflects the complete disregard of Khawarij for the lives, property, and religious sentiments of ordinary citizens. During the attack, copies of the Holy Quran present inside the targeted house were also damaged, highlighting the extremist and destructive nature of an ideology that claims religious justification while violating the fundamental values of humanity, respect, and sanctity.
The deliberate targeting of civilian areas and residential structures demonstrates the tactics of Khawarij, who avoid direct confrontation and instead choose vulnerable targets, including unarmed citizens and public infrastructure. Such actions clearly reflect their inability to face security forces and their reliance on acts of terror and destruction.
