Security Forces successfully conducted a targeted intelligence-based operation in the Maddi area of Kulachi Tehsil, Dera Ismail Khan District, resulting in the elimination of two Khawarij belonging to the TTP Gandapur Group.
The operation was carried out following credible intelligence regarding the presence and movement of armed Khawarij in the area. Acting swiftly and professionally, Security Forces engaged the militants, leading to an intense exchange of fire. As a result, two Khawarij were neutralized on the spot.
One of the deceased Khawarij has been identified as Muhammad Nauman, while efforts are underway to ascertain the identity of the second individual. Relevant authorities are conducting the necessary verification and intelligence procedures to establish his identity and affiliations.
During the operation, Security Forces recovered a significant cache of weapons, communication devices, and operational equipment from the possession of the slain Khawarij. The recovered items include:
• One M4 rifle
• One Submachine Gun (SMG)
• One hand grenade
• Two motorcycles
• Two M4 magazines
• Two SMG magazines
• Two smartphones
• Additional operational equipment and materials
The recovery of these weapons and equipment is a major success and is expected to contribute significantly to ongoing efforts aimed at disrupting militant networks and preventing future acts of violence in the region.
Security officials reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to maintaining peace, stability, and the rule of law throughout the country. They emphasized that operations against Khawarij and other hostile elements will continue with full determination until all threats to national security are eliminated.
