I am seeing that the threat of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is no longer limited to security forces. In fact, I see that educational institutions are also being targeted. Attacks on schools and educational institutions from Tank to Bajaur have proved that the terrorist regime considers educational institutions to be the biggest threat to its thinking and objectives.
I am talking about this situation, and along with this I am also talking about the Kandahar meeting in Afghanistan, and the thousands of people who have been claimed to have been killed by the former Afghan security forces. There is a new challenge on the political and security situation of Afghanistan.
Afghanistan After 2021
When the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan in August 2021, an announcement was made that those who are present there will be pardoned.
This means that those who were against them or were in the government before this will be pardoned.
This is one thing, but I see that they work against it.
The reports that are coming are very painful.
It appears to me that in the last 4–5 years, they have captured and targeted about 3,300 Afghan soldiers of the Afghan forces.
They have killed them.
There was a meeting in Kandahar.
The whole world is worried about the former government.
Why are they arresting and killing its supporters?
Now, in some places, I also see collective graves where many people have been buried together.
This situation is not the same in different areas. It is happening in different provinces.
In addition, another disturbing thing I am seeing is that it is being said that about 100,000 soldiers of the Afghan police have fled from there, meaning they have left Afghanistan.
Law, Conflict, and Accountability
On one hand, there are the problems of ordinary people.
They protect the terrorists there, but before that, they are targeting the opponents.
Now the world is saying that these are collective graves.
I know that this is a violation of international law. There can be action against this, and some cases can even go to international courts.
Now this meeting is being held to discuss whether this should be stopped or hidden.
These reports are coming, and no reaction has come from Afghanistan yet. But the world believes that this is a series that is not ending.
When a person surrenders, accepts state authority, and lays down arms, then killing or collective punishment raises serious questions under Islamic principles, international law, and national law.
Diplomatic Isolation of Afghanistan
The diplomatic situation of Afghanistan is already bad. The whole world is not accepting them. Only Russia has accepted them.
So wherever they go, no country is engaging with them.
Human rights are being violated there. Women’s rights are being violated. The world is also concerned about that.
On the diplomatic level, I can see that on one side is Russia and on the other is India. They have support from these countries.
Apart from that, I see the Afghan government is completely isolated at the diplomatic level.
If this continues, I think that in the coming days the countries that are helping them will also face questions.
Aid, Funding, and Misuse Concerns
Now I see a double standard.
When I say that these people support terrorism, are involved with terrorists, are violating human rights, and are killing people, then their help should be stopped.
Now I see that America is also helping, Qatar is also helping, and the UAE is also helping.
It is okay that they think they are helping Afghanistan on humanitarian grounds.
But the question remains: what is that money being used for?
First of all, the money they are giving is being used for terrorism. Then it is being used against Pakistan.
So I think these countries should be alert.
Pakistan should play its role in this, and Pakistan should make it clear to these countries that they are giving funds, and these funds are being misused instead of being used for welfare.
Collapse of Institutions and Economy
This is a very serious issue.
The Afghan government is not legitimate. They do not have any legal authority.
I keep saying it is a seizure group. If I give money to a seizure group, I am not monitoring where that money is going.
Afghanistan’s economy has been destroyed. There is no export, no import, no construction, and no employment.
The educational institutions are in a bad condition.
So I think Afghanistan has completely collapsed, and people are now starting to rebel. Slowly, I think this will spread to other provinces as well.
Extremism and Education Crisis
Now I see that in Afghanistan, women’s education is completely banned. Now I see that in Pakistan too, educational institutions are being targeted. So I think this is an extreme thought. It is the thought of extremism. I think you do not want to educate children, because when you educate them, they become aware.
Now they say that this educational system is a system of disbelief. This is the British educational system. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,100 schools have been destroyed in the past few years. If you destroy 1,100 schools, then in every school there will be 200, 400, 500, or 100 children. Guess how many children must have been affected.
This is separate.
To rebuild them takes years, but to destroy them takes minutes.
This is psychological warfare.
It is also a war to end education.
At the same time, they want these people to remain ignorant and not study.
Women’s education is totally over. They do not think it should be taught at all.
Extremism and Mindset
Now I look at Pakistan.
Until you do not end extremism, you cannot end terrorism here. Because terrorism is an act, but extremism is the thought of your mind. That hatred becomes a mindset: we do not want to leave the school, we do not want to leave government institutions, we also have to target the police. They want children not to get education and grow up without education.
This thought is being created so that they are brought to terrorism again.
If a child is not educated, he becomes unemployed.
Then he becomes vulnerable to exploitation, money, recruitment, and manipulation.
They target children who are not educated, who have no talent.
They give them money, they brainwash them, they send money to their families, and it becomes a process.
If a child is educated, he will question. He will argue. They do not want questioning. They say what you are doing is against Islam, but this is not in Islam. That is why in the province there are 1,100 educational institutions destroyed, and more than 200 incidents in other areas.
It is a very large number.
To build it takes funds from institutions like the World Bank and Asian Development Bank.
But to destroy it takes minutes.
Wherever operations happened, infrastructure was destroyed, homes, mosques, schools, hospitals, BHUs, everything.
Even in Tank, Bajaur, and Peshawar, schools have been targeted.
So I think they want to keep people in this condition and use them.
Final Issue: Movement Toward Punjab
Now I am seeing that this news is also under investigation.
There are questions about whether terrorist organizations want to go to Punjab.
There have been incidents in Punjab recently, and some attacks have taken place.
The area of Punjab is connected to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
These people are trying to go there.
They have tried before.
There is strict checking, but people still manage to move.
When pressure increases here, they try to target somewhere else.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is easier for them to target, with thousands of mosques, schools, police stations, and markets.
They have built a narrative that they target government people.
So they target government buildings, government people, and police.
They know that if they target people, they will create hatred against them.
But they still present themselves as common people.
They say they are doing so-called jihad, although I believe jihad cannot be declared in this way.
Because the authority lies with the legitimate rulers of the time, as per the fatwa of scholars, not my personal opinion.
