Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (South) successfully conducted a decisive intelligence-based operation in Noroz Kalat, Kharan, foiling a major terror plot orchestrated by Fitna Al-Hindustan elements. The timely and precise operation prevented serious threats to civilian life, public order, and regional stability.
According to security sources, Fitna Al-Hindustan operatives attempted to block key roads, intimidate and extort local civilians, and engage in looting activities aimed at disturbing peace and undermining state authority in the area.
Acting on credible intelligence, FC Balochistan (South) launched a swift and targeted response. During a controlled and effective engagement, two Fitna Al-Hindustan operatives were neutralized by security forces.
Following the successful operation, a comprehensive search and clearance effort was conducted in the surrounding area. During the operation, approximately 200 kilograms of explosives were recovered, along with materials intended for large-scale sabotage activities. The recovery of this significant cache prevented what could have been a major threat to civilian infrastructure and public safety.
Security officials confirmed that the timely intervention successfully dismantled an active Fitna Al-Hindustan network operating in the region and thwarted planned attempts to disrupt law and order through road blockades and criminal extortion.
Authorities reiterated that Fitna Al-Hindustan continues to rely on coercion, sabotage, and illegal economic activities to sustain its operations; however, such elements are being systematically countered through sustained intelligence-based operations and enhanced security presence.
FC Balochistan (South) reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to ensuring peace, stability, and security across Balochistan. Officials stated that operations against Fitna Al-Hindustan will continue with full intensity, and no effort will be allowed to undermine the writ of the state or threaten civilian lives.
The recovery of a large quantity of explosives underscores both the seriousness of the threat and the effectiveness of proactive counterterrorism measures in preventing potential mass-casualty incidents. Follow-up intelligence and clearance operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats in the area.
